Hours after South African cricket was rocked when Quinton de Kock pulled out of the World Twenty20 against the West Indies after refusing to kneel, Temba Bavuma was the picture of grace, composure and maturity.

Bavuma announced at the draw that De Kock had withdrawn for personal reasons, and the CSA then released a statement during the match saying it had taken note of De Kock’s “personal decision … not to kneel” ahead of Tuesday’s game.
