The six teams in South Africa’s inaugural T20 league are owned by the Indian Premier League (IPL).

According to Cricket South Africa’s statement on 11 August 2022: “Already more than 30 international players have been signed by the league and this number will increase as players enter the auction which is ongoing in the coming weeks.
